For funders, sponsors, social prescribers and local supporters

Your support keeps singing open as a welcoming weekly community activity, including for people who may be encouraged to give it a try through social prescribing.

Regents Park Singers Choir is a no-audition community choir where people build confidence, friendships and wellbeing week by week. Some people first hear about us through social prescribers, while others join after encouragement from friends, family or neighbours looking for connection and joy.

Funding helps us keep the choir available as a regular, low-pressure activity people can join and return to over time, supporting confidence, routine, belonging, connection and wellbeing in a realistic, human way.

  • Accessible sessions that remain affordable for people on different incomes, including those who first hear about us through social prescribing.
  • A gentle, no-audition welcome for new singers, including people who feel nervous when trying something new.
  • The kind of regular, inclusive activity that supports confidence, routine, social connection and wellbeing as people return week by week.
  • Stronger community friendship and participation for people who join through social prescribing as well as the wider local community alike.
